Lots of people with colds, or recovering from colds, but that did not stop them from doing really well in last night’s pub quiz!
Well-liked questions about nitrogen, lizards, weird Finnish festivals, Fränggisch breweries and French regions secured five (!) teams 21 out of 24 possible points after 4 rounds: 101s, Wombats, Konfu Tsetse, Kackspechte and defending champions Promotion Square.
In the end it was very, very close, but Murphy’s Law top quiz team did it again and won their fourth quiz in a row! Congratulations, you fxxxxxx! – as Damian would say.
Promotion Square also won the pitcher of beer, but Matthias did not know the band who had a hit with ‚Geronimo‘ in 2014, and so half of the jackpot stays in the pub at least until next week.
101s finished second and got a round of whiskeys, Aids Monkeys won the booby prize with a score of 28 points, which shows how high last night’s final results were. Well done, all of you!
